Eventually, you will have the option of branching out and establishing your own kingdom, or, as is the case with Bannerlord, if you have taken a liking to your current one, you can subvert it and seize power for yourself!”
— TaleWorlds
## Portals | [ALL the FACTIONS (M&B-II)](Bannerlord-Factions-(Cluster)) | [ALL the CLANS](Clans-(Cluster)) | [ALL the FACTIONS (M&B-WB)](Warband-Factions-(Cluster)) | | :--------------------------------------------------------: | :------------------------------: | :-----------------------------------------------------: | ## Info Who would be interested in this pillar, would be those looking for information on the various factions of the *Mount & Blade* series. From *Mount and Blade: Warband* to *Mount & Blade II: Bannerlord*, all the major factions are included here. Additionally, all of the clans of each faction are here too; *‘clan’* as in families. This portal *does not include minor clans* like the Brotherhood of the Woods or Skolderbroda; no mercenary bands or mafias are featured here. For minor clans, *see* [Warbands](Warbands-(Pillar)). What can be found here, through the clusters, are the detailed accounts of estimated profits / salaries of each clan and faction, market monopolies, and overall social rank within each faction hierarchy. All details here are gathered from three main places: one is from in-game itself, like using a mod. [^1] A mod that allows the player to play as a clan leader and thus, allows us to document their financial status, their fief holdings, and how these work together to provide intelligence on their income, and market positions within their faction giving us a primary source of info. Our second source is from external documents like TaleWorlds’ `Developer-Blogs`, from game files like `XMLs`, `PDFs`, and `TXT` files. Our final source is `DLC` like the [Digital Companion](3-Travels-in-Calradia-(DLC)) for Bannerlord, as well as their [Original Soundtrack](3-Original-Soundtrack-(DLC)), the latter of which may seem strange, but the titles of each track is somewhat informative, lore-wise. All mods used in this project, both for the film and the Encyclopædia Calradica, are featured here, under: *Project > Other >* [[Proj.-Mods]]. All sources are either linked at the bottom of the page through citations or are done so through backlinks, which themselves are able to be cross-referenced here due to their being complied under the *Misc* folder. Next, why this faction portal has been developed is because know the ins and outs of each faction, how they operate economically and what resources they have access to, can give my project (the film) greater believability and realism if these are clearly laid out. >
![[encyclopedia_calradica.gif|center|300]]
>*“A massive `Mount & Blade` wikipedia.”*
About [Encyclopædia Calradica](About-the-Encyclopædia.md)
About the [Project](Project-(Pillar).md)
About the [Author](Horseapple.md)
   ## Resources [^1]: https://www.nexusmods.com/mountandblade2bannerlord/mods/6522
