![[sturgia 1.png]] # Revyl ## Ancient Legendary Town of Sturgia --- # Backstory & History [[Revyl]], chief town of the rocky Kachyar peninsula, was a traditional rival of [[Balgard]]. According to legend the Balgardian princess [[Arkina]], whose husband had been slain by the Revylians, accepted a proposal from her enemy's king to marry and settle the feud. On her wedding night, however, she barred the door of his hall and burned him and a hundred of his kinsmen and warriors alive inside. The feud has long since been settled by pacts and marriages with happier outcomes, although Revylians still resent the ascent of the Balgardian [[Gundaroving]] dynasty.
