![[squares_author.webp|left|150]]**Who are you?** I’m a small YouTuber who predominately makes funny videos. But to answer a more specific question: *Who is Horseapple?* The name of my channel - “Horseapple” - refers to a real inedible fruit called the “Osage Orange”. This fruit is bitter and irritates the skin, so eating the fruit is harmful. Because of it’s unpalatability, and also how the fruit can take on a dark brown color, “horse apple” is colloquially used to call something horse shit! Which is why, when I set out to make sarcastic rage bait content, I called it Horseapple. *It’s also just a really easy name to remember! Like “cats and dogs”, “horses and apples” just fit together, yanno?* Here’s one of my videos:

**What kinds of content have you made in the past?** Everything, I suppose. There’ve been 18 genres of content I’ve made over my time: I’ve made skits, exposés, videos essays, response videos, critiques, vlogs, how to’s, a sick ass beat tutorial, a tier list video, a breakdown video on a boxing match, lyric videos, music videos, my own music, pranks, gaming videos, challenge videos, and also a gaming montage music lyric video!
**Where are you from?** I’m from the United States.
**When did you start making content?** I started making videos way back in `2016`.
**Why did you begin?** I started making content for fun, and still do.
**How did you start?** I started with prank / challenge / and gaming videos on Aaron Bodega, [^8] as well as lyric videos on C Kole. [^7]
